Origionally from China's Xinjiang province, this sideboard is proof that form and function can beautifully align. This piece was once an old top-opening chest for farmers and workers to fill with their daily harvest of rice and grain. Crafted from solid poplar and finished in a deep lacquer that will continue to patina over time.
